Larson Waste

Larson Waste has been a cornerstone of waste management services in the White Mountains since the family's involvement in Snowflake sanitation began in the 1970s, growing into a full-service waste hauling and removal operation based at 1440 W Rutledge Dr that served more than 12,000 residential and 3,500 commercial customers across the region. The company, originally built by Garett Larson from a roll-off truck and a handful of containers, expanded to operate transfer stations, maintenance shops, and routes covering communities throughout northeastern Arizona. In September 2022, Waste Management (WM) of Arizona acquired Larson Waste, continuing its residential, commercial, construction, and medical waste services under the WM umbrella while preserving the local operational footprint. For Snowflake-area residents and businesses, Larson Waste—now part of WM—remains the familiar face of dependable garbage pickup and dumpster rental built on decades of local service.
