About Heritage Inn Bed & Breakfast

Heritage Inn Bed & Breakfast occupies a meticulously restored 1878 pioneer home in downtown Snowflake, originally built by Osmer Flake — son of town co-founder William Flake — using locally fired brick and lime mortar, and converted into a bed and breakfast by Dean and Sandra Porter in 2000. The inn offers nine beautifully appointed guest rooms with gas fireplaces, in-room Keurig coffee service, 4K Smart TVs, mini-fridges, and microwaves, plus The Copper House — a separate historic 3-bedroom home with a hammered copper soaking tub and full modern kitchen. Guests enjoy a daily continental breakfast, access to a tranquil courtyard and guest lounge (open 6:30am–9pm), and a Tesla charging station, all within walking distance of Snowflake's restaurants and shops. It is widely considered the finest lodging experience in the White Mountains, blending genuine pioneer history with the comforts of a boutique hotel.
